Utah’s 2018 Integrated Report (IR) Call for Data

Closed: March 1st — midnight on April 30th

Update: May 2, 2017

The Call for data for the 2018 Integrated Report is now closed. The information on this Web site is for archiving and references purposes only.

Update: March 29, 2017

The Call for Data for the 2018 Integrated Report is extended an additional 30-days. The Division of Water Quality is now accepting data and information submission packages until midnight on April 30th, 2017.

The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) of the Utah Department of Environmental Quality will be assessing the waters of the State (streams and lakes) to determine their support of designated beneficial uses for the 2018 Integrated Report. The Integrated Report (IR) includes the 305(b) assessment report and the 303(d) list of impaired waters. Beneficial uses include potential source of drinking water, primary and secondary contact recreation, aquatic life, and agriculture.

DWQ monitoring teams have collected water quality data over several years to be used for evaluating stream and lake water quality. To assist DWQ in making assessments, we are soliciting any additional water quality data from individuals or organizations that has been collected from October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2016. If any data were previously submitted to the water quality assessment program in previous IR Call’s for data, the data does not need to be submitted again.

Credible Data Requirements

The Assessment Program only uses high quality data for 305(b) and 303(d) assessment decisions. All data that are submitted for consideration in water quality assessments must meet the Assessment Program’s credible data requirements, which are provided below.
