Online Lawn Mower Exchange Cuts Pollution in Utah

Participants can receive a $299 coupon to purchase an electric lawn mower

Residents of Davis, Salt Lake, Tooele, Utah, and Weber counties have the opportunity to upgrade their gas lawn mowers to battery-powered electric through the Online Lawn Mower Exchange program. Electric lawn mowers are quieter, easier to use, and better for Utah’s air.

The program offers a $299 coupon to purchase an electric lawn mower with the confirmed trade-in of a gas-powered mower. Salt Lake City residents are eligible to have their old gas-powered mower picked up from their home for recycling through the Call 2 Haul program.

Participants will be randomly selected and will receive an email on Wednesday, April 6 with notification, instructions, and a coupon code to purchase an electric lawn mower from select retailers. You must recycle a gas-powered lawn mower to participate.
