Update October 25, 2021 (Waterborne Pathogens)

On October 20th, the DWQ waterborne pathogens monitoring team visited Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Samples from near State Line Beach did not contain E. coli above recreational thresholds. Routine sampling will continue monthly.


Update October 22, 2021 (Waterborne Pathogens)

On October 5th, the Tri-County Health Department visited Flaming Gorge State Park. Samples from near State Line Beach and Mustang Ridge Beach did not contain E. coli above recreational thresholds. Routine sampling will continue monthly.

The Division of Water Quality and the Utah Department of Health began monitoring for waterborne pathogens on June 1st, 2021. As UDWQ and UDOH continue to visit and monitor waterbodies, updates will be posted.
