Update September 8, 2021 (Waterborne Pathogens)
On August 24th, the Southeast Health Department visited Huntington Reservoir for routine waterborne pathogens sampling. Samples taken returned below the recreational threshold of 235 MPN/100mL.
Update July 30, 2021 (Waterborne Pathogens)
On July 27th, the Southeast Health Department visited Huntington Reservoir for routine waterborne pathogens sampling. Samples north of the boat ramp within Huntington State Park contained 435.2 MPN/100mL of E.coli which is above the recreational threshold of 235 MPN/100mL. Per Waterborne Pathogen Advisory monitoring protocol, a follow-up sample will take place shortly.
Update June 2, 2021
The Division of Water Quality and Utah Department of Health began monitoring for waterborne pathogens on June 1st, 2021. As UDWQ and UDOH continue to visit and monitor waterbodies, updates will be posted.
