Monitoring for harmful algal blooms on November 4, 2022
Recreational water quality monitoring has ended for the season. Summit County Health Department has removed the Warning Advisory.
As of last sampling on 10/24 scattered areas of harmful algae were still present at Rockport Reservoir. Know how to recognize the signs of a harmful algal bloom and recreate safely.
Monitoring will resume in summer 2023.

BE CAREFUL: Samples collected on 9/7 showed high concentrations of toxin-producing algae near the State Park Marina. Toxin-producing algae may be present anywhere in the reservoir.
