Update October 27, 2021 (Waterborne Pathogens)
On October 25th, the DWQ waterborne pathogens monitoring team visited Smith and Morehouse Reservoir. Samples from the west side near the boat ramp did not contain E. coli above recreational thresholds. Routine sampling will continue monthly.

On September 14th, the DWQ waterborne pathogens monitoring team visited Smith and Morehouse Reservoir. Samples from the west side near the boat ramp did not contain E. coli above recreational thresholds. Routine sampling will continue monthly.
Update August 13, 2021 (Waterborne Pathogens)
The DWQ waterborne pathogens monitoring team visited Jordanelle Reservoir on August 9th. Samples from near Aqua Cove, main boat launch, and Hailstone Middle beach did not contain E. coli above recreational thresholds. Routine sampling will continue monthly.
Update June 11, 2021 (Waterborne Pathogens)
On June 3rd, the DWQ waterborne pathogens monitoring team visited Smith and Morehouse Reservoir. Samples from the west side near the boat ramp did not contain E. coli above recreational thresholds. Routine sampling will continue monthly.
Update June 4, 2021 (HABs)
On June 3rd, the DWQ HABs monitoring team visited Hyrum Reservoir. The monitoring team did not observe a harmful algal bloom. Cyanotoxin and cell density samples were not collected. As UDWQ and UDOH continue to visit and monitor waterbodies, updates will be posted.
