Update July 19, 2020
The Strawberry River Day Use Area is under a Health Watch after a recreator observed decaying harmful algal bloom (HAB) material along the shoreline and in the water on July 18, 2020. Wasatch County Health Department has been notified. The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) plans to sample the area within the next seven days.
A Health Watch is not a formal advisory level but rather an indicator that a bloom may exist or become more severe based on available information from DWQ and the Department of Health. Indicators can include visual reports.
