Update September 30, 2021 (HABs)

The DWQ HABs monitoring team visited Yuba Lake on September 29th. Harmful algal blooms were not observed. Cyanotoxin and cell density samples were not collected. As UDWQ and UDOH continue to visit and monitor waterbodies, updates will be posted.


Update September 1, 2021 (Waterborne Pathogens)

The Central Utah Public Health Department visited Yuba Lake on August 30th. Samples from all sites visited did not contain E. coli above recreational thresholds. Routine sampling will continue monthly.


Update August 4, 2021 (HABs)

The DWQ HABs monitoring team visited Yuba Lake on August 3rd. Harmful algal blooms were not observed. Cyanotoxin and cell density samples were not collected. As UDWQ and UDOH continue to visit and monitor waterbodies, updates will be posted.

The DWQ HABs monitoring team visited Yuba Lake on June 8th. Harmful algal blooms were not observed at West Beach, North Beach, or Eagle View. Cyanotoxin and cell density samples were not collected. As UDWQ and UDOH continue to visit and monitor waterbodies, updates will be posted.
