A restricted account that provides revenue for regulation of solid, hazardous, and radioactive waste. -

Funds
- Construction Assistance Programs: Drinking Water
The Division of Drinking Water administers two financial assistance programs. - Federal State Revolving Fund: Drinking Water
The national Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program established by the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) Amendments of 1996, authorizes the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to award capitalization grants to states, which in turn may provide low-cost loans and other types of assistance to eligible public water systems to finance the costs of infrastructure projects needed to achieve or maintain compliance with SDWA requirements.
- State Revolving Fund: Drinking Water
The State of Utah established the State Revolving Fund program to provide low-interest loans (typically 2-4%, 20 years) and grants. Of all the funds allocated by this program, only approximately 5% are authorized as grants. All political subdivisions of the State of Utah (e.g. cities, towns, districts etc.) are eligible.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) funds water quality and wastewater infrastructure projects in Utah. - Petroleum Storage Tank Trust Program (PST Fund)
Provides a financial responsibility mechanism for gas station owners and operators to meet mandated Federal (EPA) requirements for underground storage tanks. - State Revolving Fund: Clean Water

Persons interested in having their property assessed using available petroleum brownfields grant monies. -
Used Oil Grants
Funds are available to promote used oil recycling.
Loans

Municipal Storm Water Loans
Storm water projects are eligible for funding through the Utah Wastewater Project Assistance Program. -
Petroleum Storage Tank Low Interest Loan
Loans may be made for upgrading, replacing, or closing USTs.
Taxes
- Sales Tax Exemption: Water Pollution Control Facilities
Certain pollution control facilities are exempt from sales tax.

To encourage the establishment of DIYer collection centers and used oil recycling.
