Update May 30, 2018
DWQ is pleased to announce that the Region 8 Environmental Protection Agency has officially approved the 2016 Integrated Report. As EPA’s final approval letter indicates, this is a “partial approval” action, the details of which are discussed in the letter.
Update December 7, 2016
DWQ received ~30 comments during the public comment period, which was held between June 10th, 2016 and 5:00 p.m. on September 8, 2016. DWQ is pleased to announce that the Final 2016 Integrated Report has been submitted to EPA for approval on December 7th, 2016, and all files have been updated on this website. EPA will have 30 days to review and provide final action on the 2016 Integrated Report.
Update August 1, 2016
Closed: The Public Comment Period on the 2016 Draft Integrated Report is extended an additional 30-days. DWQ is now accepting public comments from June 10, 2016 until 5:00 p.m. on September 8, 2016.
During this time we are seeking input on:
- Substantive changes only from the 303(d) Assessment Methods that were posted from March 11, 2015 – April 12, 2015
- 305(b) and 303(d) list of impaired waters and
- Additional information that goes into generating the Report.

Update July 22, 2016 – Public Hearing
On July 19th 2016 DWQ hosted a public hearing on the Draft 2016 Integrated Report. 22 stakeholders attended the hearing, and one comment was received. DWQ will respond to this comment and any other comments that are received during the Draft 2016 IR public comment period. The 60-day public comment period on the Draft 2016 IR will close on August 9th, 2016.
