January 11, 2017 Symposium
On January 11, to kick off the series of employer based trip reduction (EBTR) meetings, the DAQ hosted an EBTR Symposium where several employers shared some of the strategies they have used to reduce vehicle emissions. Over 60 people attended both in person and through an on-line webinar. In the spirit of EBTR strategies, all future meetings in the EBTR series will be held exclusively through webinars and will focus on specific topics suggested by EBTR participants. Future meetings might include presentations from experts on van pools, active transportation options, or telecommuting and teleconferencing tools and policies.
