How to Fill Out a PDF Digitally

Via Adobe Reader


  1. Download the PDF
  2. Open in Adobe Reader
  3. Fill it out
  4. Save your changes
  5. Attach file to email
  6. Email it

Via Chrome


  1. Open PDF in the browser (click the link online)
  2. Fill it out
  3. Print > change printer > “Save as PDF”
  4. Attach PDF to email
  5. Email it

TIP:

If you fill it out and it still appears blank, you may have started filling it out in your browser and then clicked the “download” button. This does not save changes, but downloads the original file. Try downloading it and opening it from your downloads folder, then filling it out using the Adobe Reader program. Or, try printing it as a PDF after filling it out in your browser (change the printer option just before hitting print).
