  • April 19 — Bennion Center Earth Day Volunteer Event at Bend-in-the-River

  • April 19 — Utah Museum of Fine Arts: Artful Afternoon for Families
  • April 19 — Ogden Nature Center: Earth Day Celebration
  • April 22 — Office of Energy Development
  • April 22 — SL County: Environmental Health Earth Day Festival
  • April 22 — TreeUtah: Community Tree Planting
  • April 26 — Draper City:  Earth Day Fair

If there isn’t an organized event in your community today, you can create your own Earth Day event:

  • Pick up trash along your street or in a city park
  • Volunteer to participate in a local cleanup project
  • Remove brush and weeds from an elderly neighbor’s yard
  • Plant a tree or sign up with TreeUtah for a community tree-planting project
  • Clean up garbage or debris from a local waterway
  • Hold a yard sale or a clothing swap to encourage reuse of household items
