Follow these steps to select your retail location, choose your bundle, recycle your old gas-powered equipment, and pick up your bundle.
Step 1: Submit recycling information
- In your invitation email, you will find a form to specify the quantities of gas-powered yard equipment you intend to recycle.
- To receive an electric yard equipment bundle, you must recycle six (6) pieces of eligible equipment. Ensure you have entered six items to recycle.
- Once you verify the recycling information is correct, you can move on to the next section.

Step 2: Choose a retailer, pickup date, and equipment bundle
Pick a retail location and pickup date
- You will bring your old equipment to the retailer of your choice on one of our pickup dates.
- Check our map below to browse retailer locations.
- Each retailer offers different bundles of electric equipment.
- You will enter which retailer you have chosen on the form linked in your invitation email.
- Selections are final. You cannot change your retail location and bundle selection after submitting the bundle confirmation form.

Choose your bundle
- Each retailer is offering pre-determined bundles with a set combination of handheld battery-electric string trimmers, hedgers, edgers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, and their batteries/chargers.
- Browse all of your options and choose the one that best suits your needs and budget.
- You will receive $3000 to use toward your bundle when you bring in your old equipment for recycling at the scheduled pickup date. You will pay for the bundle at the event and are responsible for the remaining balance.
- After selecting your bundle, you will be emailed the date and time to visit your selected retail location at the scheduled pickup date.
- Selections are final. You cannot change your retail location and bundle selection after submitting the bundle confirmation form.
- Enter the bundle code on the form linked in your invitation email.
Step 3. Receive pickup information
- After you have submitted the form, you will receive a confirmation email with details on when to collect your bundle and recycle your old equipment.
- You will receive a reminder email shortly before the day of your pickup with a copy of these instructions
Step 4. Prepare for recycle and pickup
Bring your old gas-powered equipment
- On the day of your scheduled pickup, bring your old gas-powered equipment to the retail location for recycling.
- Note: This is a mandatory step to participate in the program and receive your new bundle.
- Upon arrival, visit the designated recycling area at the store to drop off your old equipment. Staff will assist with the process.
Before the pickup date
- Your equipment must be in working condition when you bring it in.
- You must remove all oil and gas from the equipment before the pickup date.
- Used oil can be taken to any AutoZone or O’Reilly Auto Parts. View a map of all used oil collection centers here.
- Leftover gas MUST go to a landfill
Step 5. Purchase and collect your new bundle of electric equipment
- Once your old equipment is successfully recycled, you will be able to collect your new bundle at the same retail location.
- Bring a valid form of identification that matches your credit card to pay for the bundle.
- Make sure to verify the contents of your bundle before leaving the store.
Important to remember
Pickup date
Ensure that you visit the store on the scheduled pickup date to avoid any delays.
Location-specific bundles
The bundles may differ depending on the retail location you’ve selected. Review each retailer’s bundle options before making your selection.
Recycle first, then collect
Recycling your old gas-powered equipment is a requirement for receiving your new bundle. Make sure to complete this step before collecting your new items.
