Every action that we take impacts the environment, either helping or hurting it. DEQ is committed to helping you learn how to reduce your environmental footprint through Pollution Prevention, known as P2, practices. P2 is about reducing the amount of any hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant released into the environment in order to reduce the hazards to public health and the environment. P2 is also about preserving resources by using raw materials, energy, water, and other natural resources more efficiently at home, at work, in your personal vehicle, and in your yard.
