DAQ, USU and WSU researchers will extensively evaluate emissions change during cold start, hot start, and during transient cycle utilizing a Portable Emission Analyzer system (PEMS). This analysis will help us understand the true emission impact from diesel engine during cold/hot start and extended transient cycle.
