About the CARROT Program

The CARROT (Clean Air Retrofit, Replacement, and Off-Road Technology) Program was enacted in 2014 by the State Legislature for the Division of Air Quality (DAQ) to encourage fleet owners to reduce emissions from heavy-duty engines and non-road equipment. The CARROT Program provides incentives through grants, rebates, exchanges, and low-cost purchase programs. The program assists the division in carrying out its mission to protect public health and the environment from the harmful effects of air pollution from mobile sources.
