Operator Certification: Utah Division of Drinking Water

In response to the COVID-19 virus, the Utah Water and Wastewater Agency Response Network (UTWARN) is compiling a pool of certified water and wastewater operators who might be available to provide emergency on-site assistance to other systems.

If an operator is available for this effort their name, certifications, and certification levels, along with contact information, should be sent by email to rwau@rwau.net. There is no requirement that you respond if you reply to this request.

Search by operator or water systems to see certification details.

Let us know if you have a recommendation to help improve the program.

Water systems provide safe drinking water to residents across the state. It takes Certified Water Operators to run the water systems, and the State of Utah oversees this certification program.

The Water Operator exam certifies those who can demonstrate competency to protect the public health through proficient operation of waterworks facilities.
