Update August 31, 2018

Davis County Health Department (DCHD) posted E. coli Advisories at three waterbodies in Davis County on August 31, 2018, after two consecutive sampling events showed E. coli concentrations exceeding water quality standards for Class 2B beneficial use (infrequent primary contact): Maybey Pond (Clearfield), Syracuse Pond (Syracuse) and Clinton City Pond (Clinton). Signs have been posted advising the public to not swim or wade in the water. DCHD will continue to monitor E. coli concentrations at all three locations for the remainder of the summer.
